Nambe: Nambe Designers' Collections: Fred Bould

Fred Bould was born and raised in Pittsburgh; he earned a degree in industrial design at Carnegie Mellon University and spent the early years of his career freelancing for several influential London design studios. He received an MA in Product Design from Stanford University and remains in Palo Alto, California, where he opened his studio in 1995.

A dedicated swimmer, Fred Bould is fascinated by the play among light, shadow and water in motion. This enchantment with transient shapes and forms is manifest in his graceful creations in Nambe metal and crystal. 		Fred Bould
